A self-published artist's book that sets drawings by Russian teenagers — made for the 2022 exhibition "Heroes of Russia and Donbas" and full of military "Z" and "V" symbols — against documentary photographs of the war in Ukraine. The naïve, propagandistic imagery of children's art collides with the brutal reality it glorifies, exposing how propaganda is taught and absorbed.
