Born and raised in Switzerland by American parents, the family moved to Scotland in 1969. Given Leica M4 camera at age 17 by my father who was motor racing photographer. After completing my BA degree in Scotland I was offered a place at David Hurn’s School of Documentary Photography in Wales.
