In the limited edition series A Day in the Life of... photographers are portraying a day in their lives, fiction as non-fiction. The second publication is completed by Amsterdam based artists Blommers/Schumm (b. 1969, Dutch). The photographic duo have assembled over thirty polaroids they frequently capture before shooting, as light tests or composition tests. Anuschka Blommers and Niels Schumm have established their names in the international fashion world. Blommers and Schumm question the status quo of fashion photography, they operate in a zone between fashion, art and photography, with shifting perspectives, where images move back and forth between different meanings. Since they graduated from the Rietveld Academie in 1996 they have worked with magazines and designers such as Viktor & Rolf, Raf Simons, Purple, Fantastic Man, Self Service and i-D. First edition of 300 copies, numbered and signed.
