Yuri Goto (b. 1993, Tokyo) is a Tokyo-based artist whose work explores contemporary human relationships and loneliness through photography, photobooks, and installation, often focusing on dating apps and romantic encounters. She earned a B.A. in Photography from Nihon University College of Art and an M.A. in Image Arts from the Graduate School of Art at Nihon University. Her work was selected as a finalist for the “KG+ SELECT 2023” exhibition at Kyotographie International Photography Festival in Kyoto, and in 2025 she held her solo exhibition “love knot” at Reminders Photography Stronghold (RPS) in Tokyo, accompanied by the publication of her first photobook of the same title. The photobook “love knot” was also exhibited as an award-winning work at the Hangzhou International Artisan Photobook Biennale in China. Goto’s work and activities have been featured in publications including Art Collectors (Japan, 2022) and Gougai City Magazine (Hong Kong, 2024).
