Mads Holm (b. 1990 Copenhagen, DK) is a photographer, teacher and writer. He holds an MA Photography & Society from the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague (NL) where he now teaches. Mads Holm (b. 1990 Copenhagen, DK) is a photographer, teacher and writer. He holds an MA Photography & Society from the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague (NL) where he now teaches. Holm's work is exhibited and published widely in Denmark, the UK, Germany, France and the Netherlands. His latest artist book HRTLND, published by Disko Bay in 2025, was shortlisted for the Author Book Award at Rencontres d'Arles and exhibited at the LUMA Foundation in Arles in 2025. Holm’s work is held in multiple private and public collections including The National Collection of Photography at the Royal Danish Library, Art in Healthcare in the UK and the Municipality of Copenhagen. Among numerous other prizes and shortlists Holm has received The Adam Bruce Thomson Award, The Jill Todd Photographic Award and The Danish Embassy Art Prize. Alongside his own practice Holm has co-founded and run Foto Studio, an independent curatorial platform in Copenhagen, Denmark dedicated to contemporary photography.
