It bridges his early and current work, highlighting themes from popular culture, youth culture, and global tourism while addressing ecological imbalances. Narrowing its focus to the escalating climate crisis and our relationship with nature. It offers a reflective space on the intersection of photography and documentary, exploring the undeniable impact of climate change on our environment. Drawing inspiration from literary works like Thoreau's Walden; Or, Life in the Woods, Funch often takes titles or quotes from books and makes them his own, adding deeper layers of meaning and cultural resonance to his photographic work. With Vol. 1 printed on paper stock left from other publications and randomly chosen by Narayana Press. Vol. 2 is printed on thin newspaper stock, reflecting Funch's photojournalist background, aiming to engage the general population in serious cultural discourse.
