



A ten-year collaboration with Mau Mau freedom fighters and Kenyans who survived colonial atrocities, using in-person reenactments to re-visualise Kenya’s 1950s independence struggle. The book interweaves fragmentary colonial archives, architectural remnants, mass graves, demonstrations and survivor testimony. Self-published 2024.
