Driving Through Flyover Country is Lewis Ableidinger’s long term documentary project on the American Midwest. Over the course of four years, Lewis captured images from 13 states using a 4×5 view camera, in an area encompassing 650,000 square miles from North Dakota to Oklahoma and from Illinois to Montana. This 116 page hardcover monograph measures 9.5 x 9.25″ and features 97 plates, a debossed and foil stamped cover, and an essay by Wayne Gudmundson.
