Bramblin

Bramblin, captivated by the shapes and grey tone possibilities of the underbrush I was compelled to create this series. Hunting for the densities and forms that would reveal the subtle beauty contained within each image. The almost abstract and expressionistic qualities that arise are both provoking and surprising. The chosen media for the images was Catlabs 320 and Ilford FP4/HP5 120mm film. Chosen for their own distinctive tonal qualities. Rest assured the absolute minimum of enhancement by digital manipulation has occurred. I have reproduced the images to the tightest of standards. If you could look at the original print you would realize that the reproductions are very close.
