A Door to the Garden

In 1998 I moved from the east of Ukraine to the west of Ireland, where I spent five most significant years of my life. The change was dramatic enough to say that I moved to the other end of the world, and this end turned out to be magnificent, unique and addictive. My life has changed in many ways since then, Berlin has become my home. But I return to my old places, Galway and Connemara, return alone and together with my children to show them the places where so many things started for me.
