A Day in the Life of...
Torbjørn Rødland
In the limited edition series A Day in the Life of... photographers are portraying a day in their lives, fiction as non-fiction. Invited by Libraryman to initiate this series, artist Torbjørn Rødland (b. 1970, Norwegian) put together a sequence of more than forty pictures done with a digital point-and-shoot during a day of research in Tokyo, Japan, in March 2008. The Norwegian photographer has a special interest in the complexities of Japanese visual culture. A leading figure in Scandinavian photography since the mid-90s, A Day in the Life of... is the first ever publication of Rødland’s snapshots. First edition of 300 copies, numbered and signed.
