Cole Flynn Quirke is a UK-based photographer whose work exists at the intersection of memory, instinct, and lived experience. Shooting exclusively on analogue film and printing by hand in the darkroom, his practice embraces slowness, chance, and the physicality of the photographic process. A graduate of the Royal College of Art, Quirke’s work takes a diaristic approach—intimate, immediate, and often unguarded. His two published books with Jane & Jeremy, House of the Stray Dog and Even a Maniac Can Learn to Drive, function as personal documents, tracing fragments of everyday life with a sense of raw honesty. Alongside his artistic practice, he has collaborated professionally with cultural figures such as Nick Cave, Billy Idol, and Bella Freud. For the past eight years, his constant companion has been a Leica M6, a tool that underpins the consistency and intimacy of his visual language.
